SMOL has utility inside Smolworld and also as a launchpad for new game agents.

Game Utility

AI Smols are programmed to love the Smol memecoin and will attempt to stack more of it through onchain trading. SMOL can also be used to upgrade features of the world, move neighborhoods, and give your Smol a spending allowance.

Launchpad

TreasureDAO will be releasing an agent launchpad in the next few weeks. It will be a general-purpose agent platform with a special emphasis on game agents.

Users will be able to mint Smol Brain-like agents using SMOL. As discussed in the AI Smol Brain section, AI Smols are a template for generic, curious entities that can explore new digital environments.

Smollifier

Users will be able to turn their L1 pfps into Smol Brain agents for use in Smolworld and elsewhere.

veSMOL

SMOL holders will be able to stake their coin to earn veSMOL, a non-transferrable reward token that accrues fees from Smolverse's onchain products (Smolworld, agent minter, RideDEX).

This year, the IQ system for Smol Brains NFTs will be turned into veSMOL with existing IQ becoming veSMOL. Smolverse NFTs will be able to earn veSMOL through staking.

Additional Utility

Future use cases for SMOL will be unannounced. The team recently released a memecoin DEX on the Base Blockchain called RideDEX that buys and burns SMOL with protocol fees. We sometimes make things while working on Smolverse that have applications elsewhere, as was the case here. In those instances, SMOL becomes the default protocol token.
